Nex BE Fest, MDI Ventures, a venture capital company owned by Telkom Group, is again holding its annual Next Billion Ecosystem Festival Nex BE Fest in the last quarter of 2024.
This event aims to bring together innovative digital startups with BUMN, in order to accelerate digital transformation in Indonesia.
MDI Ventures CEO, Donald Wihardja, stated that Nex-BE Fest 2024 will carry the theme ‘Digital Transformation‘.
“This theme was chosen because MDI Ventures wants to play an active role in facilitating the implementation of technological solutions from our portfolio startups into the Telkom Group ecosystem and other BUMNs,” said Donald in his statement on Wednesday (7/8/2024).
He added that the company believes that digital transformation is the key to increasing business competitiveness in the digital era.
“Therefore, we do not only focus on technological innovation, but also on building sustainable business synergies,” said Donald.
In previous events, Nex-BE Fest succeeded in creating a number of strategic collaborations between startups and BUMN.
Some successful examples are the collaboration between FitAja and Admedika in the digital health sector, as well as OPSIGO and Kimia Farma in corporate tourism management.
“We are proud of the continued success of inter-company synergies, such as startup Privy with Finnet, Cakap with Pijar Belajar, and OPSIGO with Indonesia Financial Group,” explained Donald.
