AEW Dynamite Viewing Audience and Key Demo Rating for the Grand Slam 2022 Episode

Wednesday’s live Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite attracted 1,039 million viewers on TBS, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is 11.57% less than last week’s episode, which attracted 1,175 million viewers.

This week’s Dynamite was rated 0.35 in its key 18-49 demographic. This is 10.25% lower than last week’s 0.39 rating. This week’s 0.35 key demographic rating represents 458,000 viewers who watched the show from that 18-49 demo. This is 10.01% lower than last week’s 509,000 18-49 viewers representing the 0.39 demo score, according to wrestling.

Dynamite was ranked #1 on the Cable Top 150 this week with a rating of 0.35 in the key 18-49 demographic. This is even with the number 1 position from last week.

Dynamite was at number 25 in viewers for the night on cable this week. This is an increase from last week’s #27 ranking.

Wednesday’s Dynamite drew the sixth highest total audience of the year so far and the ninth highest ratings of the year so far, equaling 4 other episodes. There was no real sports game last night. Wednesday’s Dynamite viewership was 11.57% lower than last week, while the 18-49 key demo rating was 10.25% lower than last week.

This week’s Dynamite viewership was 18.38% lower than the same week in 2021. The main demo score was 27.08% lower than the previous year. The 2021 episode was also Arthur Ashe Stadium’s first edition Grand Slam show.

While AEW Dynamite topped the Cable Top 150 with the tie rating in the 18-49 key demo graphic, The Five on FOX News topped the cable viewership with 3.348 million viewers, also achieving a 0.23 key demo rating. for the #4 spot on the Cable Top 150.

America’s Got Talent on NBC topped the night on network TV with an average of 6.746 million viewers, also hitting a 0.69 key demo rating. Survivor on CBS topped the night on network TV in the main 18-49 demographic with a rating of 0.79 and also attracted 5.046 million viewers.

Wednesday’s Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite was broadcast live from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NYC, and featured several events announced in advance – Interim AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm defended against Britt Baker, Athena and Serena Deeb in a Fatal 4 Way, new champions The Acclaimed vs. Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Tag Team titles, AEW World Trios Champion PAC defending his AEW All-Atlantic title against Orange Cassidy, new champion Chris Jericho vs. Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World Title, plus new champion Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson for the vacant AEW world title, the main event.
