AEW Rampage Viewership and Key Demo Rating Enters Grand Slam Week

Recorded on Friday, AEW Rampage attracted an average of 470,000 viewers on TNT, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is a 9.56% increase from last week’s recorded episode, which attracted 429,000 viewers for the post-All Out show.

Rampage achieved a rating of 0.14 in the top 18-49 demographic on Friday. This is even with last week’s episode, which got a score of 0.14 in the main demo. Friday’s 0.14 key demo rating represents 183,000 18-49 viewers, which is even with the 183,000 18-49 viewers representing the 0.14 key demo rating the previous week, according to wrestling.

Friday’s Rampage was at number 14 for the night on the Cable Top 150 with the 0.14 main demo rating. This is an increase from last week’s #16 ranking.

Friday’s Rampage ranked #67 in viewers for the night on cable. This is an increase from last week’s #75 ranking.

Friday’s Rampage drew the nineteenth lowest total audience of the year so far and the fourth lowest score of the year to date, equal to other episodes. Friday night’s sports competition included College Football on ESPN and NASCAR on USA Network. The viewership of Rampage on Friday was up 9.56% from the previous week’s episode, and the main demo rating was even the previous week.

This week’s Rampage viewership was 26.79% lower than the same week in 2021. The main demo rating was 50% lower than the previous year. The 2021 episode was also a recorded show.

Florida State vs. Louisville College Football on ESPN finished the night on the Cable Top 150 with a demo score of 0.77 and also drew 2.753 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the cable with 3.065 million viewers, also with a demo score of 0.17.

Dateline on NBC topped the night on network TV in viewership with an average of 2.768 million viewers, also with a demo score of 0.31. WWE SmackDown on FOX topped off the night on Network TV in the 18-49 key demo with a score of 0.50 and also attracted 2.212 million viewers.

Recorded on Friday, AEW Rampage aired from the MVP Arena in Albany, NY, with the following lineup announced in advance with full spoilers available: Darby Allin vs. Matt Hardy, an interview with ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli, a promo of AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill, Penelope Ford vs. Willow Nightingale, Ethan Page vs. Danhausen, plus ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe defended against Josh Woods, the main event.
