Backstage news on how people in AEW are viewing The Young Bucks

During a recent PWTorch.com audio show, Wade Keller noted that he’s heard more people within AEW defend The Young Bucks about CM Punk after the backstage brawl at AEW All Out, which also featured Ace Steel and Kenny Omega.

Keller stated that Att and Nick Jackson are generally seen as good guys behind the scenes.

“The Bucks are not seen as abrasive personalities,” Keller said. “Passive-aggressive, yes, there are some aspects to that… They are not seen as a hole. People who don’t like Punk have more negative things to say than people who don’t like the Bucks in terms of their characterization.”

Keller continued, “The Bucks might be misleading people or not being their kind of people or whatever, but they’re not jerks and that’s kind of part of the dynamic here. I think some people here looked at Punk and said ‘Maybe you don’t like that they don’t take your advice’ [or] you might be thinking, oh, that comment shouldn’t have been made’…it’s hard for people to imagine Matt and Nick deserved such a public appeal in a context that should have been about the celebrating a world title and a really good pay-per-view.”
