Booker T Discussed the Changes to WWE NXT During His Last Hall of Fame Podcast.

Last Tuesday, WWE shared the new logo for the brand, as it’s black and gold again. The belief is that WWE will make more changes to the brand in the future.

Booker was asked if he thinks the change in the NXT colors is just a color change or a change in philosophy:

‘I think it will be both. I think philosophy already knows, people who feel the change in WWE. I mean, you hear the rumble. I’ve even heard that SmackDown now feels like the old NXT. You need to know how to get guys to want to be on your team. That’s one thing about WWE, for years, that if you were a professional wrestler, you wanted to go there. That was the ultimate goal was to go to WWE and AEW has come and it certainly got a lot of young guys thinking now man I might want to go to AEW but the goal is to always make these young guys think the WWE is the ultimate place if you want to be in this business and rise to that level where you will be seen around the world, and you will become what the logo says, World Wrestling Entertainment. You go around the world to see it. I think that’s what they’re aiming for again, is trying to get young people to lean towards that logo.”
