IMPACT star and former world champion Eddie Edwards recently joined Ad-free shows for an in-depth talk on all things pro wrestling, including whipping up his upcoming world title match against Josh Alexander at Bound For Glory.

During the interview, Edwards would be asked who he would like to face. Here’s what he had to say:

“A match that I wish could have happened that didn’t, you know, in my time at Impact. Kurt Hoek. You know, I’d love to have a match with Kurt. I think he’s a man who’s on a lot of people’s bucket list right now.”

Edwards adds that he would love to have a main event match with the Olympic hero.

But he’s someone I’d like to have, to have one last game, whether it’s the last game of the night or the last game of the year.”
