Eric Bischoff shared his take on a hypothetical question about the nWo during the latest episode of his 83 weeks podcast.

Bischoff talked about how big the group would have become if Hulk Hogan wasn’t the third man to join the group after Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

“I think it would still have been, if it had been Sting, I think people would look back on it and go, wow, that was really cool, that was a great story, that was a great angle, because of the way Scott and Kevin came in and the mystery had long since ceased to be a mystery in wrestling,” Bischoff said. “I think people were asking, who’s the third guy. That, in itself, made it a good angle, or a good storyline, I think, a better way to put it, but it certainly wouldn’t have had the impact, nothing against Sting, Sting is a phenomenal performer, nothing but respect for him, but Hogan turned to, nothing, no one could have made a bigger impact at that time than Hulk Hogan, which is why we are still talking about it today.”
