Earlier this month, AEW held their annual ALL OUT pay-per-view event in Chicago, headlined by CM Punk taking on Jon Moxley for the world title, a fight Punk ultimately won to his second reign as the company’s champion. to start.

However, these were not the show’s original booking plans for the event, as Punk suffered an injury following Double or Nothing, short of his first title regimen, and has since been re-injured and possibly done with AEW after the incident as a result of the ALL OUT media scrum.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, during the original 2022 ALL OUT main event, Punk would have seen his biggest rival since joining the promotion, MJF. The world title would have been at stake, nor was it known whether MJF’s small hiatus from the company would still go the way it did.
