Ric Flair recently spoke on a wide variety of topics at his being the man podcasting.

During it, he was asked if Roman rule vs. The Rock has to be for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39. This is a match WWE hopes to do, but it depends on The Rock’s schedule.

“Personally, I don’t think it’s a given that the Rock is going to do it. As much as he respects Roman, I’m sure they do, all those guys. It’s a brotherhood like no other. I don’t think The Rock would be back to do a favor. Why would he? Tomorrow morning, what, is he going back to his acting career at a loss? I do not think so. I don’t see that happening. It wouldn’t do the company any good to put the belt on The Rock as he will never become a full-time wrestler again. I’ve said before, when The Rock happens, it’s great. If not, I’d like to Cody Rhodes.”

Flair was asked if he wanted to see Cody Rhodes beat Reigns, and Flair said, “Yes. I thought those matches Cody had with Seth Rollins weren’t good. Seth really convinced him.’
