Special Guest Announcer Revealed for AEW Grand Slam Shows

Veteran DJ/radio host DJ Whoo Kid has been announced as the special guest announcer for Wednesday’s Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite.

There’s no word yet on exactly what Whoo Kid will be doing, whether he’ll ring announcing or comment, but a press release issued today indicates he’ll be working on the Dynamite and Rampage Grand Slam shows, but that hasn’t been confirmed by AEW from now on.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this event. It promises to have many surprises in store. As a radio personality and co-host, I’m looking forward to expanding and announcing a wrestling match. I hope this is just the beginning of being part of the AEW family,” Whoo Kid said in a press release.

Whoo Kid and AEW World Tag Team Swerve Strickland have taken to social media to announce that the DJ will be announcing for the title recording of Swerve In Our Glory’s The Acclaimed.
